Health Talk: Celtic Sea Salt (Part 2)

Living Food Farm's recent Health Talk didn't include this 2nd part of the newsletter, so here it is! Now, Living Food Farm wants to explain on how to take Celtic Sea Salt on a daily basis with our Powder Barley Grass.

What kind of foods can you sprinkle Celtic Sea Salt on?
Any food that you like to add or sprinkle Celtic Sea on! Use it on salads instead of dressings. Just avoid foods that contain sodium (refined white salt) or use table salt (refined white salt).

Is it important to take Celtic Sea Salt with Living Food Farm’s Powder Barley Grass?
Yes! Very important! Our Powder Barley Grass helps rebuild red blood cells needed to make our immune system stronger. Celtic Sea Salt works with our Powder Barley Grass, acting as “enzymes” that help digest our food in the stomach better.

What’s the recommended plan on taking Celtic Sea Salt and Powder Barley Grass daily?
Here’s an example for one day… (For those who finished the “The 9 Days of Beginner’s Program”) Drink WATER (1 full glass of water or more) the first thing in the morning! After drinking water, wait 5-10 minutes before following the steps below.

• 1 Tablespoon or 3 teaspoons of our Home Grown Green Life (drink one “shot” of water (up to 4 ounces) OR 1-3 ounces of Goji Juice WITH 1-3 ounces of orange juice (Florida’s Natural, Premium, Squeezed Fresh Oranges, not from Concentrate orange juice is recommended)
• 1 palm-sized heap of Chinese Wolfberries (1/4 cup or so) OR 1-3 ounces of Goji Juice
• Repeat the steps two to three times a day
During the day…
• Sprinkle Celtic Sea Salt on food you like during meals
• Be sure to drink water! Drink between meals (8-10 glasses of water per day)
Before bedtime…
• Take ½ to 1 teaspoon of Powder Barley Grass (swallow it with some water)


What’s the big deal about drinking water?
The human body is made up of approximately 50% to 60 % water. So drinking water is important!

How do you know if you’re not drinking enough water?
By the color of the urine. The normal color of urine should not be dark. It should ideally be almost colorless to light yellow. If it begins to become dark yellow or even orange in color, you are becoming dehydrated. It means the kidneys are working hard to get rid of toxins in the body in very concentrated urine. That is why urine becomes darker in color. Dark color urine is a sign of dehydration Try to monitor your urine’s color by checking it often. Try to keep up normal color – 24 hours daily

What if I am experiencing diarrhea or queasy stomach when taking the Powder Barley Grass and Celtic Sea Salt?
That is good news! They are typical body reaction to the detoxification process. The powders are cleaning out toxins. If you feel overwhelmed, you could reduce the amount of powder barley grass intake or go back to Day One of our Beginner’s Program.
