Barley grass, enzymes and Irja
Let me tell you a short story about my mother, Irja. I want to talk about the
importance of enzymes in the stomach and Irja is a good example. She’s
almost 90 years old and has been taking our barley grass since we first produced
it. She has her own temptations such as going out to restaurants occasionally,
as many of us do. One day, she came up to me complaining of stomach pains.
I wasn’t surprised because it means two things. First, she may not

well. With my advice, Irja then took MORE barley grass, 2 to 3 teaspoons
before meals (recommended), 3 times a day (6 to 9 teaspoons per day) Now,
Irja’s stomach is much better! (Be aware that the healing processes
vary between each individual) She does sometime forget to take barley grass
before a meal but taking it after meals do still help nevertheless! Today,
she is enjoying her life without any stomach pains as she walks on our precious
soil that helped her health!
